RAC Will Provide More Than simply Breakdown Cover

While retaining their unchallenged reputation as the UK's most forward thinking and progressive motoring organisation, today's RAC recognises that not all drivers are the same and not all of them have the same requirements. As a result RAC are committed to providing each of their customers and their families with individual motoring solutions - products and services which are flexible enough to suit personal circumstances and which allow RAC to respond to their requirements in the quickest, most efficient and most appropriate way.

Whether or not you can drive away from the scene, RAC will:

Assess your situation, reassure you and advise you on what you should do at the scene
Provide you with documentation which will help support your insurance claim
Arrange recovery of your vehicle and help you make alternative travel arrangements
Advise you on the repair and insurance processes
Offer free legal advice including expertise on your eligibility to pursue any claim for compensation and in some cases RAC may be able to pursue a case on your behalf
Provide many other services to help you overcome the accident

Horse Trailer Assist
Horse Trailer Assist is available and can be taken out at any time during your RAC membership year. If you or your family are among the growing number of people using a trailer to transport horses, ponies, donkeys or other farmyard livestock then, as an RAC Member with the Recovery service included in your cover, Horse Trailer Assist is for you.

In addition to the normal RAC membership entitlements, Horse Trailer Assist gives you...

Onward travel to any UK destination for the horses and accompanying RAC Member or groom, or recovery of horses to a local stable if preferred (includes cost of one night's livery),
Veterinary assistance arranged if required,

RAC will arrange for your car to be fixed at the roadside or towed to the nearest garage with English-speaking Incident Managers available 24-hours a day.
